They’re really hard to pinpoint these Czech beers with their odd national names, but I s’pose it’s this one. Classical golden with a nice full although collapsing head. Very pleasant, malty palate and a rather subdued bitterness. yespr (12411), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 29, 2006 Can from Tesco, 4.2%, "Staropramen Prazsky". (BB 11/2006)
Bright golden color, good white head. Woody, buttery aroma with hints of aspargus. Light to medium bodied. Starts mostly watery, then gets harsh hoppy bitterness. This one has some good Czech pils elements, but is same time bland and cheaply made.
