This golden nectar was sampled (many times :) at a Prague cafe near Smichov brewery. Strong malty/yeasty aroma and perfectly balanced malty/hoppy/citric palate with hints of fruits and unknown herbs. Go Smichov!

Unfortunately 0,5 l can only. Oh I love those light Czech Pilseners! This "desitka" is really one of their greatest beers I have tried. Pale yellow body with normal foam. Light aroma and flavor, but nothing very special like it’s finish. Really nice.

Can - light malty aroma with a hint of hops. Medium yellow color with short head. Light malt flavor - high carbonation with a hoppy finish. Not nearly as strong as most Czech pilseners - a good choice for those who like a lighter flavor.

(tap i Praha) A clear, golden beer that has just a hint of darkness (might just be dim lighting). The aroma has some hops in it and some diacetyle. It has a balanced, but light, taste with sweetness and bitterness. The mouthfeel is nice but the aftertaste is gone.

Golden colored, little white head. Hopped, fruity, finely sweet aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Fruity, hopped floral and dry flavored, soft palate with medium carbonation.

(Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Staropramen Desítka - pivo svetle výcepní" at 4,2% ABV. They’re really hard to pinpoint these Czech beers with their odd national names, but I s’pose it’s this one. Classical golden with a nice full although collapsing head. Very pleasant, malty palate and a rather subdued bitterness.
