On tap in Prague. Described as a Czech bitter. Amber light color. Sweet malt aroma. Caramel sweetness. Pretty basic & nothing amazing but not too bad

Short foam. Much malty aroma with some woody notes. The malt sweetness is clearly present in the taste. No bitterness to balance the remaining sweetness in the taste.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange to light amber with a creamy white head. Mild spiced and dry caramelish aroma. Dry and towards roasted and breadish malty base flavour. Light bitterness and light acidic touch coming through towards the finish.

Bottle brown, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours violet - pink - orange to bright orangy amber with some reddish beams, bizarre body colour reminding many ales of Irish origin not typical for Czech Republic beer style. Carbonation of the body is natural, gentle in its effervescence of a natural origin, the carbonation of micro bubbles is present on the glass wall. Head is pinky - white, initially huge, very slowly decreasing to small, thick frothy and quite regular in texture, there is also decent lacing.
Aroma: Very, very chalky with clean hoppy - herbal notes of Czech origin. Reminiding somehow its Irish relatives but created from Czech origin ingredients. Initially slightly alcoholic and kind of juicy malty sweet. Notes of grains of barley malt origin. Notes of cardboard and crispiness.
Flavour: Noble sellected hoppy aromas, especially earthy and herbal, essential hoppyness with nice bitterness binding your tongue. Body is bisquity and crispy from Czech broght malt, some notes of burned caramel malt and some reminding Vienna like malt. On texture is very smooth and easy going, some wallnut essence bitterness, very well balanced beer with notes of truffle, full and really natural honest taste of well brewed beer. Finish duration is long.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is practically creamy but could be even more creamy if the nitrogen was used instead of carbona dioxide. Carbonation on palate is very mild, finish feel is quite lively astringent from hoppy bitterness, mild alcoholic and rather clean, underlining the nobility of that beer.
