Beautiful cascading effect after poured, needed to sit for a few minutes and wait for it to settle. Clear deep golden color with a thick creamy lasting light beige head with obvious nitrogen effect. Very low scent, though it may be due to the smokey Prague restaurant. Fresh hoppy taste and a Velvet mouthfeel. Rather medium bitterness. 6/4/7/4/17=3.8
Rerate At a bar in Plzen after the RBESG GT08 Nice looking falling out, building up llok. Clear amber color, big fluffy lasting tan head. Malty, sweet, caramel taste. Sweet malty scent. 5/4/7/4/13=3.3 apatahunga (1), Boca Raton, Florida, USA does not count | 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | May 3, 2006 One of my favorite Czech beers. Looks great in glass: color and creamy foam. Creamy aroma, best when fresh. Smooth. jacobwennbom (274), Uppsala, Sweden
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 28, 2006 I drank this when I was in Prauge some time ago. Only on tap and bottle, didn’t even know you could find it in a can. However, you can’t get in i Sweden and my memories are a bit hazy. I do seem to recall though a very creamy foam, not very different from whipped cream or molten vanilla ice cream. Also very smooth and non-offensive (and I mean this in a good way). larsga (2980), Oslo, Norway

Light caramel aroma with notes of straw and a little hops. Nice, soft mouthfeel. Burnt, soft caramel taste, somewhat watery, with a dry, bitter aftertaste. Some hops in the background throughout. Well-made, but boring. (0.5l bottle.) jrohn92 (105), USA

Thick, off-white head. Aroma of corn and canned peas; and neither is good. Flavor has more corn and chemicals. Disappointing. Bottle. I see no reason why this is more than a pale lager, and not a very good one at that.
