Tried this at Microfestivus. It was ok. It had some nice maltiness to it, but nothing to write home about. I’d drink it again, but not too often. There is better out there.

RateBeer Rating, Style and Glass: 55. Brown Ale, Dimpled Mug ABV, Volume & Calories: 5 % in 12 fl oz. estimated at 150 C Purchased at: Wood River Grill and Wine Shop for $1.33 Aroma: not much, off. 2 out of 10. Visuals: murky brown, thin off white head, okay lace. 2 out of 5. Taste: carbonation, watery, very little craft. 1 out of 10. Palate: water, quick finish. 1 out of 5. Overall: A lot like seltzer. I would not seek it out, it was in a word, bad. Poorly crafted. 8 out of 20.

Off taps at Capital Ale House. Slight grain and a bit of fruit in the aroma with hint of earthy hops. Clear amber copper with small off-white head. Grainy pale malts dominate flavor with slight fruityness and touch of spicey hops. Light body with moderate carbonation. Medium sweet finish with some residual hop bitterness.

Beautiful dark leather brown in color with a decent looking head. Musty malt aroma with a roasted bitterness in flavor. It gets better as it warms in the glass. This is a really gem of a beer!
