Thanks to JaBier for sharing a bottle. The beer pours a not entirely opaque brownish black color with a thin light beige head that recedes quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Roasted coffee and chocolate in the nose. Medium body that is watery at times with flavors of coffee and burnt malt plus a bit of chocolate. The finish is short and mildly bitter with a coffee aftertaste. Uncomplicated and forgettable lighter Stout overall.

Dec 17, 2009 On tap at Oldsmar Tap House (Tampa, FL). Pours a dark cola brown to black with thin tan head. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of roast, caramel, chocolate, coffee. Flavor is sweet and malty with notes of chocolate, roast, coffee, smoke, some hints of caramel and toffee. Medium body with a malty finish.

aroma roasted malts, hints of lactose/coffee, and smoked malts.
flavor, roasted malts, dry palate with hints of chocolate malts and possible smoke adding some char element.
Starts of nice but midway it yields to a bad burnt mouthfeel.

Nov 7, 2009 Pours dark black with medium sized dark tan head. Nose is salty, roasted malts, some sugar, vanilla, coriander. Taste is heavily burnt malts, some bitterness, a bit thin and acidic. Additional flavors are chocolate, vanilla, some coffee, and a light bit of oatmeal. I think if they could kill the acidic quality and make it more chewy, it would be about an 80.
