Commercial Description:
Rich and malty, Festie is available from September through December, and is our tribute to the great German lager. Its name invokes the German tradition of Oktoberfest, while also paying homage to the end of the summer music festival season. Each year, Festie comes out just in time for Oktoberfest. (And Septemberfest. And Novemberfest.)
# Malts: 2-row Pale and Munich
# Hops: Perle (Bittering), Fuggle (aroma)
# Yeast: Lager
# Alcohol: 4.8% by weight

Cloudy amber appearance with a small, off white head and only a trace of lacing. Mild, fruity aroma. Taste is bready malts and cereal grains. Thin palate with a metallic aftertaste and a short lived finish. Had higher expectations than what was delivered.

Pours slightly hazy orange amber with a thin white head. Aroma is caramel and mild tart berry and apple. Medium thin body and decent carbonation.

Bottle thanks to Cavie. The look is clear, golden in color, and has an off white head. The smell is spices, sweet, corn, and malts. The taste is sweet, corn, malts, and ok.

Bottle thanks to cavie. Light yellow with a white head. Light fruits and malt aromas. Watery on the palate with a fruity malt flavor.

Bottle courtesy of emacgee. Clouded yellow pour. Sweet aroma with some perfume. Taste is of old apple juice and decent malts. Finishes easy. Not much but smooth and refreshing.

Bottle thanks to cavie. Pours with a clear gold and fading head. Aroma of banana, butter and corn. Taste is slight sour lemon, buttered toast and caramel. High carbonation and a thin mouthfeel.
