LiebeBier (734), RIchmond, Virginia, USA Apr 26, 2008 Draft - I actually though this was a Wit beer because it has spice and orange peel flavors with a light malt body. A very nice beer with great flavor.
brigg (112), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jul 2, 2008 Updated: Jul 11, 2008(bottle) Nearly opaque straw body and small white head. Aroma is full of clove and banana; also has some lemon peel. Banana flavor is dominant and other fruit are present (lemon in the back end), with vanilla and wheat. Light to medium bodied, soft mouthfeel. dkachur (618), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jun 14, 2008 Bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville. I had this at Miller’s a long time ago and found it pleasant. Kinda surprised they’re bottling it. Hazy yellow with a creamy 2-finger head. Decent retention. Aroma is banana, citrus, yeast, and a bit of spice. Taste is yeast with citrus and bubblegum. One of Starr Hill’s better offerings. phishpond417 (1110), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA May 30, 2008 Very pleasent tasting brew overall. Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a medium sized white head. Plenty of sweet aromas and a pleasent mouthfeel. Flavors of lemongrass, pretzels and bubblegum. Suttree (2265), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Apr 28, 2008 At the Raleigh WBF. Cloudy aroma, nice head. Nice lemony, citrusy aroma. Decent wheat character, and a lot of citrus. Nice hop bite at the finish. Pretty tasty.
