| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 16, 2009 Nicely balanced AIPA aroma, with lots of sweet caramel, toast and pungent hops. Honey colored, foggy, with a big, beady head in a pint glass. Appearance ding for a bad label and a twist-off longneck. Citrus pith bitterness, drier than it smells. The foam is unpalatable, bitter and metallic, so let it sit. A little over medium bodied, but not too weighty. Long, kumquat/hop finish, that goes a little spritzy. Not bad. New Leaf Market.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Dec 13, 2009 Draft at County Grill. Rosy amber with a nice sudsy head. Citric aroma. Nice tacky mouthfeel and a full-on warmingly woodsy flavor. Delish! (#3769, 12/13/2009). obguthr (1063), Poquoson, Virginia, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Dec 8, 2009 Honeycomb and orange peel nose. Cloudy orange, medium yellow head, good lacing. Grapefruit flavor predominates, with a more bitter grapefruit peel and orange peel in the finish. Well blended celery notes appear as the glass warms. Well hopped with citrusy hops. Tastefully maltier when warm. Great IPA, not heavy, and quite bitter. mar (1940), Dallas, Texas, USA

Light citrusy hops and smooth esters on the nose. Nice on the palate with a smooth citrusy hop flavor and a smooth finish. angrypirate06 (781), Texas, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 1, 2009 Bottle. Malt aromas are of moderate grain, roasted and bread, pine for the hops and light soap for the yeast. Head is thin, wispy, slightly off-white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy orange/tan. Flavor starts moderately acidic and lightly bitter, then the long finish is heavily bitter. Palate is medium, watery with a lively carbonation and a dry finish. Simple, lacking any sweetness and a bit out of balance, but still fairly IPA-ish. manicmethod (7), Maryland, USA does not count | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | Nov 22, 2009 nice head, good taste, nice and hoppy, not too bitter. A slight aftertaste. Bottle says 5.8 ABV even though is says 7.2 here.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 18, 2009 Light copper with medium head. Biscuit malts and pine/citrus/mango hop flavors. Heavy bitterness. Solid, but doesn’t set itself apart much. Needs more hop flavor for my preferences. Balanced well; malts contribute almost as much as the hops. Seeing that this is only distributed Feb - Apr has me wondering if this isn’t the freshest bottle. Cavie (1493), Fort Worth, Texas, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 14, 2009 Bottle courtesy of emacgee. Clear orange pour. Very light aroma. Little amounts of anything on the nose. Taste is a dry hop with bitter elements that fill in the flavor. Dry finish that is a tad rough.
