The aroma is very hoppy with pine, citrus, and herbs with some caramel malt to balance. The appearance is amber gold with quite a large head for the style. The flavor is like the aroma with a definite bite at he end. The palate is right for the style. Overall a well made IPA, maybe just a bit too astringent.

Bottle thanks to Cavie. The look is clear, golden in color, with an off white head. The smell is hops, floral, fruits, and ok. The taste is the caramel, hops, fruits, some bitterness.

Draft at County Grill. Rosy amber with a nice sudsy head. Citric aroma. Nice tacky mouthfeel and a full-on warmingly woodsy flavor. Delish! (#3769, 12/13/2009).

Honeycomb and orange peel nose. Cloudy orange, medium yellow head, good lacing. Grapefruit flavor predominates, with a more bitter grapefruit peel and orange peel in the finish. Well blended celery notes appear as the glass warms. Well hopped with citrusy hops. Tastefully maltier when warm. Great IPA, not heavy, and quite bitter.

Bottle thanks to cavie. Yellow pour with a white head. Light citrusy hops and smooth esters on the nose. Nice on the palate with a smooth citrusy hop flavor and a smooth finish.

Bottle. Malt aromas are of moderate grain, roasted and bread, pine for the hops and light soap for the yeast. Head is thin, wispy, slightly off-white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy orange/tan. Flavor starts moderately acidic and lightly bitter, then the long finish is heavily bitter. Palate is medium, watery with a lively carbonation and a dry finish. Simple, lacking any sweetness and a bit out of balance, but still fairly IPA-ish.
