Commercial Description:
Caramel and honey malts lend this ale a mellow, grainy maltiness which is balanced by the subtle presence of English finishing hops.

Clear light amber brew with an off white cap. Caramel aroma, good apricot, floral, notably aromatic. Spicy hops hit the taste buds first and seem to hold this thing together. Biscuity, dry, light fruit throughout. Not bad taste. Creamy feel. Wow! Lame review!

Nice rich golden ambers hues. Taste and smell nice caramel and honey with the undertone of the malts, almost grainy. Balanced cream ale.

Just a load of caramel malt without enough pleasing hops to really make me satisfied with this offering. My least favorite beer in the sampler at the brewpub.

Cask@Steamworks Brewery Brewpub, Vancouver. Thick reddish brown looking beer with a fruity and slightly strawberry aroma. The flavour is bitter and spiced. Overall a very nice pleasantly spiced and fruity hopped beer.

Light nose, pale gold color, nitro creamy head. Fruity malt, hint of apple. Low bitter, like they forgot the hops on a normal pale ale. Oh well. Harmless and not so bad.

On tap at Steamworks. Nice gradient appearance of ambers. Faint, although pleasant, fruity aroma. Off-white nitro head which lingers, helping to maintain a creamy initial taste with every sip. I was very happy with this cream ale and would gladly drink some more next time out at Steamworks.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear deep golden, creamy head. Light raspberryaroma. Medium sweet with soft, gentle mouthfeel. A refreshing well balanced, easy going beer with some discrete berry flavours.

Grapefruit, orange, citrus, grassy hop nose seems like it may be dry-hopped. Clear, burnished copper coloured body is topped by a very dense, fine bubbled, nitro (I’m guessing), off white head that coats the glass. Grapefruit flavoured hops spar with biscuity malts and some doughlike yeast character. Medium body is quite dry and well attenuated with lively carbonation that engages the tongue. Simple and refreshing this one comes across as advertised. Sampled on tap at the brewpub after the Grey Cup 2005.
