Jan 29, 2008 Draught. Nose is sweet fruit, strawberry primarily with a touch of raspberry. Bright amber. Sweet flavor, touch of hop bitterness balances it out. Very thin, but drinkable.

Jan 25, 2008 Bottle. Pours a nice amber with a slight off-white head. Aroma is buttery nut with a slight bit of candy. Very malty upfront, with a tinge of strawberry in the finish. A slight toffee pokes its head in the scene toward the end of the sip. Watery mouthfeel. This could be a fantastic beer with some tweaking, but as it is it’s simply middle-of-the-road.

Jan 4, 2008 12 oz bottle. Amber color with thick creamy head. Malty, toffeish and caramelly aroma. Toasty, caramelly and toffeish munich malt flavor. Very clean and drinkable, well made.

Dec 17, 2007 from a can...crystal clear amber pour with a thin white ring of foam. aromas of brown sugar, brass, grassy hops and light canned pineapple. pale malt flavor with some earthiness, caramel, fruit (maybe berries) and a spicy bite. finishes dry. short lived lingering maltiness and light skunky hops. light bodied with a watery mouth feel.

Dec 12, 2007 Thin, transluscent copper with small quickly fading offwhite head. Smell is apple juice and malt. Is that the acetaldehyde or whatever I read about that tastes is similar to green apples? Anyway, some of that, and regular old malt and some tartness and dustiness as well that I’m not too crazy about. Taste is a bit metallic up front. Slightly sweet, but balanced by the hops. Crisp bubbly, average body. Nothing special, but I’ve definitely had worse.
