| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 11, 2009 Copper color with taller light beige head. Malty, nearly to the point of worty in scent. HInts of toast and a a bit of herbal hops. Some acidic malt in the flavors as I take the first quaff. Toasted and raw malt flavors. Some floral hops flavors in the background. FInishes sweeter with again some floral flavors. Things just do not seem to come together in this one. I find things that I like and then suddenly there is something to contradict it. JUst now I had a great malt linger; then I take another gulp and it’s gone. sebletitje (2000), Tampa, Florida, USA

Pours nice amber with white head.
Can will lead to confusion has it calls itself an amber ale, then a malt liquor, and RB has it as a dark lager.
Has some very nice and sweet caramel malts with roasted touch.
Taste is very sweet, caramel malts with light notes of floral hops.
Finish is light with faint bitter undertones.
Good brew. cgarvieuk (4225), Edinburgh, Scotland
