It was malty, and crisp with a clean finish. 2 gold medals and a bonze at the GABF so you know this one is worth this visit. I was told they are about to start a new brewery and expand into the south west with this flagship beers TipsyAfter2 (15), Michigan, USA

Was a little worried what I was getting into with things that the label states. But I was very impressed with this Amber Lager, and have bought it several times since first trying it. A bit of a sweet aroma with little malt and no hops detected. For as dark and rich as it looks this has a surprisingly light feel in the mouth. No hops, just a smidgen of aftertaste. This doesn’t taste anything like you’d expect. So it’s disappointing in that aspect. But it is very refreshing. With it’s light mouth feel I’d drink/serve this over a typical light beer any day. Light nectar w/ ample residual effers. Flavors are crisp and mellow w/ a nutty character. The finish has a nice bittering to it. This is a good session brew. The can has brighter flavors w/ a biscuity nose.
