AmEricanbrew (824), Left Coast, Louisiana, USA Jul 13, 2008 clear amber with a fleeting head. Mild but nice grainy bready malt aroma. Smooth medium body. Decent flavor is lightly sweet pale malts with a nicely bitter hop twang to finish. easy drinking PA here. Dickinsonbeer (2480), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Jul 3, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a light hazy dull orange with a thin white head and some nice lace. Aroma is orange citrus hops- some orange tic-tac, and some light solventy soapiness. Flavor is more orange zest, cedar and pine notes, ligth caramel and biscuit malts, typical wierd off cascade metallic citrus character and a soapy bitter finish. Rciesla (712), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Jul 3, 2008 Bottle as an extra in a trade. Pours a copper body with a white head. Some pine hops floralness, a little copper in the flavor. Not really crazy for this one. Very earthy. thejoeshow (69), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA Jul 2, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a beautiful copper/golden color with a less impressive white head that quickly turns into a small white ring with moderate lacing. Heavy hop nose with hints of citrus and floral aromas. Flavor is citrus hops up front with a bit of grassy hops at the end. Very smooth and balanced IPA that is dangerously drinkable. Probably my favorite of the Steamworks 6 pack offerings. PsionSaint (46), Colorado, USA Jun 30, 2008 Fairly typical IPA offering with hoppy aroma, light citrus flavor, and moderate bitterness.
