Nov 29, 2009 Pours a golden yellow with little to no head. A very skunky smell an taste. A strong aftertaste of corn and metal. A bad beer!! Its only good quality is its high ABV content. With that said, this will be the last time I drink this beer.

Nov 27, 2009 Poured from a pint can a golden yellow with a thin white filmy head. Carbonation rate for this brew was very high. Aroma has a mild noble hop nose with a strong amount of pilsner and a mild corny sweetness. Flavor is grassy with a mild pislner malt note, corny flavor comes in towards the end with a faint metallic note. Alcohol presence is like a punch in face in that you definitely feel it during the drink and long after it disappears. Not too good of a brew but if you were looking to get hammered on something that doesn’t taste good and is cheap, then look no further than Steel Reserve.

Nov 22, 2009 everytime i drink it the only justification i can come up with is..."Im a college student...its cheap...its 6%". Even so i dont think that justifies this one. :)

Nov 14, 2009 16 oz. can- Pours pale golden with no lacing and a head that disappears immediately, aroma is of dirty socks that have been soaked in beer then left in the sun for a couple of hours. The flavor isn’t much better, cheap alcohol and a sickly sweet aftertaste. This beer looked flat half way thoough the glass, This is one of only two beers that I have rendered unfinishable- Steel Reserve 211 HG and Icehouse.

Nov 4, 2009 Not sold here in Canada. Anyone know where I can get the 40’s of it? I know the 8.1% better then the 6% version but like 6% more. Both taste good,but one alone fuck’s me up and after the 8.1% version is done I can’t stay awake usally much longer after it(I guess I pass out)It’s strong in flav,% and ingedeance. Where can i get the 40’s?NOT sold here in Canada. Last time I had it, I recall I was like I don’t recall it smelling this bad,so mabye i like it a tiny little less then usally.Unsure.

Oct 30, 2009 Can..Poured into a Bruery tulip glass (how is that for class)... Pours light golden with a white head and good retention. Then it starts to go down hill from here...Not sure if the aroma I’m getting is from the Lambic I had right before but it smells sweet and that is about it...Flavor is a combination of chemicals and rat piss.. Seriously wtf is this, a Bud light would be a blessing right now.
