Nose is sweet and corny with notes of chlorine water. Can is black with a menacing looking red 211. Mean. Flavor is adjunct laden chlorine water. At least its sterile I would assume. Sulfur and alcohol. Corn, grain, earth. Meh. It is what it is. Now on to the new colt 45. What’s up hoes?

this gem was schlepped back from utah by superdave70 (in case form). gold-ish yellow pour from the menacing black can...with almost no head. the aroma is a toned down regular 211 with some candy, fruit and flowers thrown in. the flavor is oddly... good... similar to a watered down much smoother version of the regular... kick ass. the harsh edges are missing the body is medium though not sticky. prickly carbonation makes it super easy to keep drinking... 7/3/7/4/15/3.6

Pours a so-so clear straw yellow with a fairly thick but not persistent white head. Aroma is crisp and malty, fairly strong but nothing to enter on your blog. Flavor is malty and crisp, slightly sour, slightly sweet. Texture is smooth, a little on the watery side, just a bit tingly. Not too shabby, but I doubt I’ll be seeking this one out.

Can shared by SuperDave at Hellbilly’s after Sun-Up’s 8th anniversary party. Corn and wet malt aroma. Golden body with no head. Alcohol, grain flavor like most malt liquors. Alcohol based for the most part on the palate.

Can Pours a straw color with a fizzy white head. The head leaves quickly. Has a typical aroma of sweet corn. Taste is plain and lacking. High carbonation, weak finish, bad aftertaste, watery texture. I tried it once but it is swill.

Split with Barrios. Clear golden pour with ring of off-white head. Sweet corn flavor is a bit cloying. Semi-syrupy body. Some alcohol warming on the tail.
