Commercial Description:
An award winning, refreshingly smooth North American Style full bodied deep amber lager. Brewed with a subtle touch of pure honey for a slightly sweet finish.

2008-07-12. Copper amber body with a pretty decent beige had that fades to leave a much smaller version of the same. Sweet aroma is predominantly generic sweetness with touches of honey-like character, muted undertones of cereals. Flavour is quite similar, plainly sweet, muted honey character, touches of caramel to the very modest malt character. There is an oddness to the finish that could be a house character or just lingering honey byproducts. Average palate is actually slightly fuller than most macros. The new batch is good enough to have come from one of the larger macro brewers, which is a step up from past history, and also damning with faint praise. In short - I’d drink it again, but I wouldn’t buy it. 6/3/6/3/12 - 3.0 Bottle courtesy of GregClow.

33 cl bottle, Mulmur, ON, Canada. Iced tea appearance, thin inconsistent head. Sweet (honey) aroma, with some faint spice. Medium body, not much flavor but very drinkable.

A markedly deep copper with rusty hues, pours a frothy white cap. In the nose, caramel meets honey, malty grains meet plum, it is also a bit toasty.Sweet and fruity with good caramel malts and honey is actually present in the flavour. Nice bittering hops towards the end to balance the sweetness. Medium body, creamy, delicate carbonation. Surprisingly good.
