Steelhead Barracuda Blonde

On tap at the brewpub in Eugene. Light nose with fruit and cotton candy. Lightly sweet citrus-tinged taste. Earthy, herbal and hoppy for a Pils finish. Not bad, but not to style.

I had this on tap at Irvine, pale gold color, bland with not a lot going on.

On tap at Irvine. Wouldn’t have guessed a pilsener on this one. Color was a clear pale gold; with a very white head. Aroma of pale malt and yeast. Flavor of yeast, sweet malt and mineral water. A bit of spice in the finish. Ok.

Worst beer on tap at the brewery. Palate and taste lacking, and there was too much carbonation for this weak brew.

Sampled in Eugene. Appearance is similar to bud light. Overall aroma is pretty sweet. Goes down nicely, but not something I would order for my first brew of the day.

Appearance not so good, I swear it has a green tinge to it. Aroma not much better. Taste is as suspected - "yikes". I literally can’t find one nice thing to say about this beer. Our bartender is really nice though.

Ordered this beer from Steelhead Brewery in Irvine. Light golden pour with very minimal white foamy head. Aroma of malt and grain. Taste was sweet and watery with tiny hints of barley and grains. I think I know why they call this brewery Steelhead.... beer also contained metalic flavoring, not a very good first experience for me, do they ever clean their tanks in this joint??? Not impressed, really good food though, i’ll give em that.

Pours a semi-lively dark lemonade with nice lacing. Aroma is lemon Pledge. Flavor is a pleasant, floral lemon. Average mouthfeel. Not too shabby.
