Sample at the Irvine brewpub. This brew pours a clear pale gold color with a thin white head that fizzes away quickly, and tiny rising bubbles. Thin sheet of lacing on the glass. Milk Saaz hops aroma. Light-bodied with an off-hops flavor and some spices. The finish is thin and leaves a short astringent hops aftertaste. Not very good overall.

Draft at Steelhead BC, Eugene, OR. Small white head that was mostly lasting, virtually no lacing, transparent, no carbonation observed, and a pale yellow hue. Nose and flavor was malt and corn. Smooth mouthfeel and light bodied. Definitely not a quaffable brew IMO and definitely I won’t have again. Next!

Tap @ the brewpub. Poured a clear light gold with an off-white head. Very grainy and sulfury aroma. Grainy and mild sulfur in the flavor. Moderate sweetness. Light body.

OC tour, tap at Irvine brewpub: Light golden hue with fizzy fading head. The aroma has notes of corn grain, soapy malt and some apple. Blah flavor of bland grains and nothing else. Effervescent and watery. Blah, Blah, Blah...why is this listed as a pils?

Pretty standard blonde ale here. Pours golden with thin head. No aroma no flavor. Flavor is crisp.

Draft at Eugene Brewery. Clear pale yellow with no head. Aromas were mostly malty. Flavors were similar with not much hop present. Pretty pedestrian.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent uncarbonated yellow colored body. The aroma contained mild astringency and diacetyl notes. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a bubbly aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt hops sweet and mild astringency. A horrible one that I would not buy again.
