Relative to other IPAs I’ve had, I thought this was pretty good. The description I read was dead-on - "lots of malt flavors, intense hop finish" DrunkenWeasel (218), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 15, 2006 Smells of some piney hops with too many malt notes for an IPA. Medium Amber color with a small white head. Tastes of floral hops with a sharp apple bite to it. Aftertaste is too bland without a long lasting taste too it. | 0.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Aug 16, 2006 Draft at Steelhead in Irvine CA on 8/15/06. This is possibly the worst IPA I’ve ever had. Hops do not even exist in the realm of this beer. Do not order it. Yuck realale420 (399), west covina, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 15, 2006 Cloudy orange color with little carbonation. Light hop aroma with a good hop flavor and malt profile. Overall a clean easy drinking IPA. awaisanen (1279), Irvine, California, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 22, 2006 Slightly cloudy, orangish amber color with a small, bubbly white head. Hoppy aromas are light and smell of herbs - maybe some fresh tarragon and oregano, but not overly fragrant. Flavor is smooth and quite malty, which is a bit of a surprise. Relatively quick finish with only a trace of hops and herbal notes lingering at the end. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 4, 2006 Decent and quaffable in a pinch. Beings this is the only decent place in Eugene. Lemony and acidic with some decent malt character. Just wish it had a little more in the hop character to it. The finish was a little metallic and mineral almost tasting like this was poured out of a can, but not it came out of the draft I watched ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 23, 2005 Draft at the brewery. Slightly hazy golden orange color. Texture is fizzy and crisp, with a medium-to-light body. Flavor is sharp, piney, sweet, lightly soapy, while a little tinny and metallic in the finish. Semi-sweet aromas of pine needles and sharp woody hop notes. Slightly grassy, but in a bad way, actually. BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA
