Jun 3, 2004 Tap@Steelhead. Loved this stuff, Once again really well, made, textbook IPA. Massive sweet lychee flavour. Pine and grapefruit, as is alwasy the case with USIPA’s. Little creatures pale ale kept coming to mind while having this, real tasty stuff.

Dec 23, 2005 Draft at the brewery. Slightly hazy golden orange color. Texture is fizzy and crisp, with a medium-to-light body. Flavor is sharp, piney, sweet, lightly soapy, while a little tinny and metallic in the finish. Semi-sweet aromas of pine needles and sharp woody hop notes. Slightly grassy, but in a bad way, actually.

Copper color, sticky head. Nose of hop resin, something horizon or Amarillo like, pale malt & dry alcohol. Nice plum feeling in the mouth and a clean finish.

Mar 8, 2009 A golden IPA with a thin white head. Good plentiful c-hops, with resinous notes, pungent and classy. In mouth, a classic California IPA with loads of C-hops, grapefruit, piney character, oily mouthfeel. A good classic example. On tap at brewpub, Jan. 17 2009.

Aug 4, 2007 This draft brew from the brewery in Eugene poured a head of finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a hazy uncarbonated dark orange colored body. The mild aroma was hoppy and malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The weak flavor contained notes of hops and mild astringency. A poor ipa that I would not buy again.

Mar 24, 2004 On tap at Irvine, CA location. Cloudy gold with a full white big head and lacing throughout. Fresh hop floral aroma with a hint of maltiness. The flavor isn't as good as the aroma, which left me a little dissapointed. Light bitter hop finish also isn't as dry as I prefer, but still an above average IPA.
