Steelhead Cuvee Du Peppar

Sampled at the KLCC brewfest 2005. This was a much more subtle pepper beer than the Oregon Trader. Pours very pale, almost like bud light, with a thin faint white head. Hot pepper aroma with just a mild malt nose. Tast was fairly sweet, much more so than any other pepper beer i’ve had, the pepper was very mild and faded quickly leaving almost no spice behind. This wasn’t a very bold beer and the lack of spice really left me unsatisfied.
