Tap in Burlingame. Nice red color. Nice aromas of predominant malt and some caramel. Flavors have caramel, but also some hops and bitter fruit that give it a bit of an edge. One of the better Irish reds out there and quite drinkable.

Decent aromas are prevelant here, with a somewhat herbal spiciness. Flavor it a somewhat bittersweet nuttiness, full of rich caramel malt, saltwater taffy, and toffee malts. Herbal hops, and a bitter black tea like finish. A decent take on the style, very drinkable.

Amber or mahogany with a dissipating head and spotty lacing. Nutty aromas with caramel malts. Bitter aromas along with almost a hemp like smell to it. Maybe it’s just because I’m in Eugene. Flavors contain bitter hops and again, some hemp. There is a big malt presence as well with roast and caramel. Nutty, too. Tingly palate and a malty finish.

Sampled draught at Steelhead Brewing, Eugene
Mahogany color, light head & lacing. Nose of fruity red licorice & subtle roast, cinnamon & earthy notes. The flavor is nutty with a bit too much bitterness. It never lets the malts shine.
