| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 4, 2008 Sample at the Irvine brewpub. Served with a lemon, this beer is a hazed yellow color with a thin white head that diminishes quickly. Spotty lacing. Light wheat and biscuity malt in the nose. Light-bodied and wheaty with notes of fruit and cloves. The finish is mildly fruity with a wheat aftertaste that does not linger. Slightly below average overall. hotstuff (3176), Indiana, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 20, 2008 Draft at Steelhead BC, Eugene, OR. White small head that was mostly lasting, virtually no lacing, hazy, and a straw hue. Nose was sweet, clove and some spicy notes. Flavor was sweet, spicy, grainy and dry finish. Mouthfeel was smooth and dry. Light body. Not a good example of this style as there are so many better ones to be had than this one. Very, very disappointing as this is one of my very favorite beer styles. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 7, 2008 Tap @ the brewpub. Poured a hazy dull gold with an off-white head. Light citrus aroma, but that might be from the lemon wedge they put in the beer. Malty and bready flavor with quite a bit of grainy cereal notes. Tasted like Cherios. Light body. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 5, 2007 OC tour, tap at Irvine brewpub: Hazy golden hue with minimal head or lace. The aroma has some wheat and clove, buttery and grainy, weak esters. The taste is fruity and biscuity with a short medicinal finish. The feel is lively and watery. It is not offensive. (This should be listed as a wheat ale). AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 4, 2007 This should be labeled an american wheat because it doesnt have any of those estery flavors that i would associate with a hef. Pours hazy with no head. Dry in taste and finishes clean. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA
