This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated yellow colored body. The mild aroma was bready. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of malt and floral. It was totally missing its banan notes and was was off the hefe wiezen mark. A horrible one that I would not buy again.

Sampled at the Brewhouse in Burlingame. Had a good flavor with a fair use of hops that really lead it to be a good brew. Was mildly cloudy, where as i prefer a very very cloud hefe. Semi sweet with a good base.

Tried this one as part of an 8 beer flight at the brewpub. I generally like hefeweizens, but this one left something to be desired. The wheat beer flavor seemed to be there at first, but was gone as quickly as it came. Not memorable.

Draft at Steelhead in Irvine, CA. Slightly cloudy, yet less so then typical American Hefe’s. More golden in color then yellow. Slightly sweet aroma, with a sweet bready flavor. Relatively light bodied and very easy to drink. This is a stlye that I am not too fond of, but this is probably my favorite of this style.

Draft at Steelhead in Irvine CA. Pours cloudy like a typical wheat, it is light and sweet and an ok drinkable american style wiezen.

Light yellow, slightly cloudy coloring with a small, wispy head. I must agree with the other raters regarding the annoying lemon addition without asking my permission. The lemon citrus clouded the aroma, leaving only the scents of lemon and corn for my nostrils to distinguish. Very creamy wheat bread flavors with a touch of milk. Buttery touch to the finish.

I was immediately irritated with this place when I tried this one and they did not ask, but just put the lemon on the glass. That tells me everything I needed to know about the beer. Here use this, it will help, you will need the extra flavor to suffer through this weak watered down crap that tastes like cereal that has been sitting in milk for an hour.

Cloudy Golden yellow color. Dry very very weak as a hefe and not much flavor. I hope this was just a bad batch.
