Hab40oz (242), Grants Pass, Oregon, USA Nov 30, 2004 The bartender told me this was some kind of pale lager, yeah sure is, hardly any color in this baby. The aroma was mostly all malt as expected with a slight tinge of floral hop bitterness. The taste was not much more than the smell mostly malt switching to a slightly spiced body then turn bitter, a little to bitter of a finish for a lager. beerinmarch (2781), Alabama, USA Nov 30, 2004 On tap at the Eugene Steelhead. Pours a light golden yellow with a tall fizzy white head. Aroma is grainy with a straw character, lightly fruity, with a nice floral hop backing. Taste starts with a quick light malt taste then quickly fades to a green hop finish with a big bitterness, a bit unbalanced by the excess bitterness in my opnion. Smooth and crisp with just a touch of wheat.
