harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA Apr 24, 2006 This is one of the best IIPAs, I have ever tried, as far as balance. Great big monster hop nose, full of pine and citrus. Well balanced flavor, with a strong hop profile, and a big malt backbone, that is kind of cookie dough like. Clean and refreshing. beerinmarch (2781), Alabama, USA Feb 18, 2005 On tap at the Eugene Steelhead and at the KLCC Brewfest. This was one massive hop brew, i think they said that all the brewers took turns just pitching handfulls of hops into the kettle whenever they felt like it. Overwhelming citrus hop nose, kinda piney and resiny. Taste was very hoppy and bitter, felt like the malts were very weak compared to the power of the hops. Very crisp with a moderate dry finish.
