Oct 7, 2009 (Bottled) Hazy greenish-golden with a medium, foamy head. Sourish-pale-malty aroma with pear fruitiness, and a touch of acidity and alcohol. Flavor is moderately fruity and balanced with a decent pale-malty body and a hint of sourness (from the Gruut?). Medium body, slightly foamy carbonation, a bit lemonadey. A quite balanced and fruity, yet unexciting, witbierish blond.

Sep 29, 2009 Bottle, at Cardinal. An almost clear, golden beer with a nice white head leaving lacings. Spice notes, some grains, fruityness, white sugar, some resin and alcohol on the nose. The flavor is pretty much the same, spiced, fruity and sweet, but too sugary. Still, it’s quite dry. Full-bodied and effervescent, with a bitter, slightly metallic finish. Pity the flavor isn’t as good as the armoa, but it’s a nice beer. 090728

Sep 29, 2009 330 ml bottle. Dim golden body with a big foamy white head. Aroma is fruity and a bit spicy with a sweet sense of castor sugar. Flavor is sweet malt and spices, actually quite plain and one-dimensional. Drinkable on the sweeter side, but not exiting. Very average all the way.

Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, spicy, over ripped fruit, moderate yeasty, coriander notes, light notes of rubber (no burnt rubber). Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090308]

Jul 30, 2009 Bottle, 33cl. into a Trappist glass. Aroma of honeyed cereal, with an off-white finger deep head that quickly thins to nail deep, with some lacing. Light mouthfeel, bordering on watery, with all the promises of the nose disappearing on the tongue. Quite insipid on the palate; faint everything. Run of the mill.
