Thanks bierkoning! Golden color (when yeast added, hazy), small white head. Spicey, fruity typical Belgisch blonde aroma. Fruity, but soapy flavor. Crisp, moderate spiceyness in the finish. Typical, uninspiring Palm blonde. bierkoning (6048), La Tropica, Netherlands

Just a bit sweetish, grassy, slightly herbal, citric and perfumed flavor. Hints of coreander. Decent. MesandSim (5851), London, Greater London, England

Typical, but tolerable spicy and yeasty Belgian blonde aroma. Heavily filtered blonde appearance with a head that angrily fizzed away to nothing pretty quickly. Slightly metallic and fatty flavour. A little too sweet and spicy. Faint ginger notes. Nothing offensive but it’s just so unimaginative. Used to wash down my dinner. Functional, that’s it. hopscotch (5483), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 15, 2009 Bottle… Mostly clear, light yellow ale with a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Great retention. Bready, fruity, spicy aroma – banana, clove, apricot and pear. Medium-bodied with a lightly astringent mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Toffee, plum and fuzzy fruit up front; nice bitterness and astringency on the backside. Finishes crisp, and then mildly fruity and dry. JorisPPattyn (5172), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 19, 2008 Fluffy white head over well-carbonated golden beer. Very malty, near grainy nose, bit grassy. Near Pilsner-like; white candi sugar probable. Dry-spicy taste, again quite grainy. Not very remarkable, but sturdy, honest taste - bit Kölsch-like, if more spicy. Light to medium bodied, quite spritzy. Unassuming, but better than expected. Would make a great session beer, were it bottle-conditioned - it deserves better. Pity about the boring nose.
