Bottle. Dark brown color. Brown gugar in the aroma. Sugary sweet flavor, challenged by roasted malt. Thin to medium bodied. Caramel. Lacks complexity and refinement.

06/04 0.33 l bottle at Hopdevil, Zagreb. Poured clear darker red body with quite small brownish head. Relatively sweet aroma, yeasty with mostly dark fruits and some caramel or chocolate. Fine, but very faint. Flavor is on the other hand more sourish than sweet, with fermented grapes dominating. Pretty thin bodied brew. Some chocolate in finish round the whole thing quite well, although finish itself is very weak and short. Or I really can’t appreciate dubbels, except some great examples, or this is pretty boring.

330ml bottle, (?, Bruges)
Red, thin head, not much aroma. Quite thin mouthfeel. Froths in the mouth. Slightly nutty malty taste. Refreshing, and no hint of alcohol. Nutty finish.

Bottle. High creamy and lasting off-.white head. Hazy dark brown body. Sweet roasted malt and caramel aroma. Sweet roasted malt flavor with caramel and brown sugar plus a good deal of carbonation. Long sweet aftertaste.

Out of The Jenner’s pantry. Who knows what you might dig up out there? Mahogany pour with beige fingers and ruby edges. Westvleteren shandy nose is distant nutty malt and candy. Creamy and metallic, developing raisin, chocolate and faint liquorice bitterness. Solid, boring MOR bruin.
