(7/13/03): Aroma is port, licorice, and moderately sweet. Taste is sweet, dark fruit, buttery. Watery undercarbonated body. (10/28/02): Dark ruby brown body with a huge tan head. Aroma is dark fruity and buttery. Flavor is vinous and moderately sweet, buttery with a bit of spiciness. It doesn't stay on the tongue long, almost no aftertaste (6/4/6/2/11).

Jul 20, 2008 On tap @ Café Quibus. Clear ruby brown colour, off white head. Aroma of dark fruit, raisins, brown sugar. Taste is also brown sugar, some raisins. A bit watery, but soft taste. Nothing special.

Jul 9, 2008 Bottle. Brown sugar malt and alcohol aroma. Dark brown color with moderate head. Charcoal, coffee, and chocolate malt flavor. Watery body. Pretty bland.

Pours a beautiful, clear mahogany with a nice, staying, frothy beige-grey head. Sweet, fruity aroma, lots of prunes and plums with a touch of metal and chocolate. A bit thin mouthfeel. Flavour is rather dry and roasted, some clear metallic notes, some slight chocolate at the end. Tolerable, but not very good for its type.

Jul 8, 2008 Bottled in Take One. Dark brown color, thick brown head with proper lacing. Aroma has plum, raisin and a bit of malt. Flavor is sweet caramel and malts with some metallic. It tastes like beyond bb date. Not good for its kind
