Syd (770), Waconia, Minnesota, USA Feb 4, 2004 Bottle pours a deep amber red with a very large head and very nice lace. The aroma is vanilla (cool) and rising bread. The flavor is vanilla, roasted malt, a touch yeasty, and very smooth. The palate is medium rich for the style. Overall, this is nice because of how smooth it is and the vanilla characteristics.
