330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.7%. Golden colour, slightly hazy, pours very fizzy with a huge to moderate head. Strong and pleasant aroma of spices, Belgian yeast and fruit (cider apples, oranges). Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour is fairly sweet with notes of spices, white candi sugar, yeast and some fruit, noticeable hops in the finish.

A Mes rate. Bottle from the Dovetail. Clean dark gold with a thin but lasting white head. Lots of spice and mashed grain going on. Decent blondie bits underneath... Hmmm... Blondie bits, now THAT’S got my mind racing... Hints of alcohol and a really pleasant sour note in the finish. Developing mineral flavour adds a little interest. Faint tobacco note in the aroma does the same. I’m not a huge tripel fan to be honest but this is better than plenty I have tried.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange, small head. Nose is strong of apples- almost like a hard cider. Taste could be as well- not as sweet as the smell, but still very cidery. Medium carbonation. Gradaully taste goes to bitter and a light dry finish. Unique of the tripels i have tried.

Bottled. A golden beer with a short lived white head. The aroma is yeasty with some slightly perfumed notes and some spicy hop. There may be some honey also. The taste is typically triple with maybe a fuller body than normal. A nice late citric orangey hint. Nice

bottle. 33cl. Malty, sweet and fruity aroma, some light spices and citrus, with hints of dried apricot. The finish is short and moderately sweet. Not really impressed with this one
