armando629 (434), Budapest, Hungary Jul 7, 2008 ABV: 4,5%... Dark syrupy appearance with a good-looking beige, small head. Sweet dark chocolate, caramell aroma and taste with a hint of roasted grains. Smooth mouthfeel, moderated carbonation, easy drinkable, likely beer. Nice, not too strong. Littlle bit too sweet, but fine. Roasted aftertaste.

Dark ruby color, good creamy beige head, lace. Slightly coffeish, caramelly malty aroma. Low carbonation. Sweet, caramelly. This beer has saccarine, so it is no wonder that it tastes a bit artifical. In the aftertaste some dry toasted notes. dEM1972 (51), , Illinois, USA Jul 5, 2008 Rich, dark brown, almost molasses in colour (I reckoned it looked like crude oil); not too much fizz; a sweet taste at first, then giving way to a more bitter, dark roasted, almost coffee-treacle taste; strange chemical aftertaste, oh6gdx (6343), Vaasa, Finland Jul 3, 2008 Bottled. Deep rubyish black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is barnyard, sweet malts, caramel and mild sugaryness. Flavour is pretty much what you could expect after such an aroma. sir_Pino (588), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland May 20, 2008 Rated: 23.07.2007
Bottle brown,500 ml, extract of wort 11%
Appearance: Body is sparkling but creating small, off- white, cappuccino like, frothy head but very small one and quite quickly decreasing. Head structure is regular, no lacing at all or some faint hints. Body is carbonated quite lively.
Aroma: Like coffee 3 in 1, coffee, milk, sugar, sweetness of malts, a bit of copico, refreshing, creamy, mild, smooth, like coffee latte, caramel, toffee.
Flavour: Coffee, front is sweet, burned sugar, caramel, aftertaste is strong , burned, coffee again, nice bitter, smoky, roasty, toasty, grainy, burned malty, alcohol is well hidden, beer is balanced with the addition of sugar to a strong, burned bitterness. Flavour is intensive and very nice of a Dunkel. One of the best Dunkels that I’ve had so far, finish is salty, burned. Finish is quite long.
Palate: Texture is creamy, mild, carbonation is rather flat, up to soft initially only. Finish is a bit bread- skiny.
