Pleasant and sweet malty aroma, full of sharp hops that sort of smell like scotch tape. Clear, bright gold with lasting white blanket. Fairly bland and quite heavy on the bitterness; nearly astringent. Not really delicious malt flavour that is overpowered by the bitterness. Light body, high carbonation, subtly astringent. MoritzF (3883), Ruhrpott, Germany Dec 23, 2006 (bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized, slowly lacing blonde foamy head. Slightly sweet grainy aroma with herbal hops and a shy floral touch when it warms. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, crispy carbonation, fresh mouthfeel. Rather malt-accented taste with traces of honey and a herbal background; dry, moderately bitter and herbal hoppy finish. Clean and refreshing Pilsener. Emil (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark May 27, 2006 Bottle. Pale yellow colour with a big white head. Dry hay aroma and a malty, hay, hoppy taste. Medium body with a light sweet straw finish.
