It’s aroma was crisp and malty which was reflected in it’s taste. I love carbonation and this one had plenty which complemented its smoothness. This is a very easy beer to drink. The beer definitely not offending any one, but it is the most beautiful fresh beer to pour. Its colour, fizzy bubbles, head and even its bottle and label is fantastic. My favorite ’night on the town - tap’ when available, and favorite refreshment in the sun when on bottle.
Found on tap in ’The British Pub" Copenhagen, large cans in Metro and Føtex, bottles not predictably found in Copenhagen. criznell (1), fort worth, Texas, USA does not count | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/20 | Feb 11, 2009 Great for getting me in the mood for a little wife beating. Check the bottom of Stell Artois Wiki, it’s a pretty funny story. tomer (380), Rishon Le Zion, Israel
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Feb 7, 2009 Draught, fluffy head that stays for quite awhile, clear pale yellow colour, strong hoppy nose. The taste is a melange of malty and grainy sweetness with a hoppy bitterness that ends with an unpleasant sweet bitter aftertaste. Has a little more body and character than normal macro lagers, i’m just not sure i like this character. joeyplush (337), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 6, 2009 Drinking this one at my friend Pete’s new house in Dilworthtown - he is a loyal Stella drinker. Pours clear light gold with a thin white head. Aroma of light hops and barley/grain, flavor of light citrus hops. For an everyday beer, this is one of the more drinkable ones. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Feb 5, 2009 12 oz bottle. Poured a clear yellow color with a two finger white head. The aroma was very astringent. I didn’t get anything else in the nose. The flavor was a typical pale lager, grainy with a bitter finish. donovan1983 (54), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 4, 2009 Pours a pale, clear gold with a rapidly diminishing small white head. Looks like a generic lager. Somewhat floral aroma with a little yeast and very little malt. Flavour is of a slightly sweet malt with a bit of bitter hops that have a slightly sharp flavour. Carbonation is a little overdone but reasonable and mouthfeel is only slightly more full than the typical pale lager, which still means it’s rather thin. Finish is sweet malt with some floral hop flavours following. Not a bad beer and easy enough to drink. Just way overhyped and overpriced. It seems pale lagers are just a mediocre style overall and this one doesn’t do anything to change that. mpersinger (183), , California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 3, 2009 On draft pours yellow, crystal clear and high carbonation. Slight floral aroma, typical lager taste with a bit more sturdiness to body, sweet note, and a bit of a hop finish.
