Jun 16, 2004 A clear yellow beer with no head. The aroma is sour malty (brewing cereal?) with notes of caramel and alcohol - the alcohol in the nose is surprising in such a light beer. The flavor is of hay, caramel, and malt. It is a boring pilsener. It was a lot better in Luxor 4 years ago in 40 degrees Centigrade - or is that just a lapse of memory? But it still brings back memories. Thanks to Alex (fiulijn) for giving me this one.

May 17, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Nice flowery nose, but the hops seem to have evaporated without leaving just the slightest touch of bitterness... Nice golden, almost absent head. Incredibly sweet - even for a 3rd world lager. Now we know why King Tut-Ankh-Amun died: in shame....

Feb 9, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and slight pale yellow with a white head. Light fruity hops aroma, slight citrus note. Flavour is medium dry to light fruity. Finish is light malty and with a mild bitterness into the finish.
