bitbucket (1566), Kirkland, Washington, USA Apr 27, 2008 Green bottle. Thanks, after4ever! Pours pale amber with a thin white head that plays out quickly. The aroma and taste were a kaleidescope of skunk, lemon and cat piss. If there was ever a good argument for a law requiring brown glass on all beer bottles, this beer is it.
FarFromHome (29), casablanca, Morocco Aug 15, 2008 Had a bottle, and also a can, in the Stella Bar in Cairo, Egypt. A few more in Luxor. Nothing special in any way shape or form, though it avoids the metallic taste that you usually get in Arab North African beer. Gets the job done, but not gracefully. bpar73 (12), Bellaire, Michigan, USA Jul 28, 2008 Almost no head with a pale golden color. Not bad with a meal but could be a little week on its own. rickgordon (3073), Göteborg, Sweden Jun 6, 2008 Canned. Thanks MiP.
Pale golden colour. Big cottony head. Maize and metal in aroma. Light grainy flavour with low levels of cooked vegetables. Low bitterness and very light mouthfeel. SuzyGreenberg (1028), Seattle, Washington, USA May 13, 2008 12 oz. bottle - thanks after4ever for sharing this gem as I walked in the door ;) clear gold, skunky, watery and stale; it was all uphill from here!! MiP (6019), Flensburg, Germany May 10, 2008 Bottle, 4.5% at La Bodega, Cairo. Grainy aroma. Clear yellow colour. Small white head. Watery flavour, low bitterness. Quite thin, but clean.
