Black with alight brown head. Aroma moderate malty (roasted, burnt, tar, licorice) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body.

Jul 13, 2008 On tap at Århus Ølfestival 2008. Pours black with a big brownish head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel and chocolate. The Flavour is quite roasted with mild chocolate.

May 20, 2008 batch 47. Aroma : earth?? dominates a rather weird bouget.. very dark. large head, bubbles grow large as it fizzles down. Taste : stir up a guinnes with some natural english licorice. Sort of tasty, just not what i expected. It will probably grow on you. yea’ it tastes like more. Quite an easy-drinker. Palate okay, but nothing special there.
Overall a strange beer, but likeable. Not brillant, but a successfull try at being somewhat different. Taste varies with temperature.

Black with a large brown head. Aroma and flavor of liqourice, coffee and chocolate. Nicely balanced sweetness.

Mar 16, 2008 Black with medium head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, coffee and liquerice. Flavor comes out the same way. Ends sweet with little bitterhed .
