Pours a very pretty dark golden with a medium, off-white creamy head. Okay duration. Fat, malty aroma, some caramel, brewing cereal. Nice, grainy and rather full mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet and malty, some slight spiciness and a fair bitter finish with some sweet caramel as well. Actually quite drinkable.

Oct 7, 2008 Nose is very similar to a barley wine with toasted malt and sweet dark fruits. This beer is very refreshing with a good mouthfeel and sweet malty and hoppy flavour. Quite good carbonation

Sep 4, 2008 Bottle at chris o’s greese me up woman tasting. Alround rating: Pale malts, biscuity and even a bit cardboardish, but in a good way, grassy hop balanced nicely.
