SilkTork (3949), Rochester, Kent, England Aug 13, 2008 Chris o’s GBBF Shindig 08. Strong amber beer. Quite sweet. Yeasty. Full bodied. Presents more like an ale than a lager. OK.
HenrikSoegaard (3289), Randers, Denmark Nov 28, 2008 Bottle. Creamy white excellent mostly lasting haed. Light amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Slightly soapy. Moderate bitter light caramellic flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Maria (4736), Thisted, Denmark Nov 16, 2008 The color is bronze and the head is huge and creamy. The aroma has sweetness and notes of malt, syrup/candy sugar, light fruit and grain. The flavour has sweetness, notes of malt, hay, grain, dry citrus and it ends on a dry note. IMO it’s a bit too malty, I would have liked it more refreshing and crisp, I think some more fruity hops would have done the trick. BeerBiker (1219), Odense, Denmark Oct 28, 2008 [Bottle from Brian Ball.] Thought it was an summer ipa, but maybe it is. With its fruity floral and bitter aroma and flavor I found it top fermented, but time will show what it is. Found it with a bitter flavor with much dry bitterness and malt at the same time. Dedoulequeen07 (128), london, Greater London, England Oct 7, 2008 Nose is very similar to a barley wine with toasted malt and sweet dark fruits. This beer is very refreshing with a good mouthfeel and sweet malty and hoppy flavour. Quite good carbonation fonefan (5529), Ulfborg, Denmark Oct 2, 2008 Bottle 50cl. @ chris o’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2008.
Clear medium yellow amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head.
