Oakes (6973), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Nov 2, 2002 Explain to me again why this isn’t bottle conditioned? Pours bright copper - yikes! Caramel, earth...really simple malt profile. Little bit of vanilla, plastic, vaguely chewy finish. Empty. argo0 (6230), Washington DC, USA Apr 20, 2004 Hazy copper body with small beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, butterscotch, light metallic. Taste is medium sweet, butterscotch, mild herbal. Watery light-medium body. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 10/01/1998

CaptainCougar (4663), Rockville, Maryland, USA Feb 1, 2004 Pours a murky copper with a thin off-white head. Sweet caramel cookie dough aroma with hints of milk chocolate. Body starts lightly sweet and dry, has a touch of yeastiness before finishing crisp and toffee-like. A nice dubbel, but could use some more complexity. hopdog (4645), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 18, 2008 11.2oz bottle. Poured a deep orangish / amber color with a larger sized off white head. Lots of huge and ugly looking floaters. Aromas of bread (rye bread), yeast, some dark fruits, and some spices. Tastes of dark fruits, and some caramel. Tastes on the softer side. Body was thin and kind of watery.
