pours a hazy lemonade color, aroma is slightly sweet and malty with a mix of citrus, flavor, is smooth, sweet fruity, with a peppery spicey finish, ok body good brew.

From a 11.2 brown bottle, made a good appearance, poured a cloudy orange hued yellow with a nice foamy white head that left patching lacing. Coriander is dominant aroma with traces of tart citrus and earthy yeastiness. Good carbonation and a smooth medium bodied mouth feel, good drinkability. Taste was coriander and citric tartness, mildly peppery, grainy and a sweet dry finish.

Wheaty grassy aroma with mild bubblegum powder, minty like Beemans. Medium orange rind oily bitterness. Peppery and clove. Cloudy pale gold, a few fine yeasties floting around, with thin lacing white head. Light watery body with mild carbonation. Starts mildly sweet, with orange blossoms and light clove. Some grassiness, Beeemans gum, and light acidity. Finish is drier, with mild chalky hop after. Not quite astringent, but definitely an alum-like dryness.

Bottle. A nice yellow translucent pour with a lot off whtie head. The aroma is of wheat and citrus. It’s pretty plain tasting and nothing special. Not that great but worth a try. There are better, easier to find beers in the style.

11.2 oz bottle. Pours cloudy and chunky with yeast with a big but rapidly fading head. It has smells of citrus. I have to agree that it’s kind of bland. It’s not bad, but there’s nothing that wows me about it either. This one is a bit hard for me to right though because while I enjoy the occasional Blue Moon, I’m generally not a big fan of the citrusy wheat beer style.

This beer poured a cloudy straw color with one finger of white head that head very good lacing. The first thing that I noticed about this beer was the amount of yeast present and the size of the chunks. There is the yeast taste with lemon and spices present. This is a decent witbier, but it seems a little bland overall.

Lemony yellow body with oodles of yeast. I haven’t seen that many floaters circulating about since the westy12!! Head is also nice, frothy white, and fills well and leaves nice lacing. Smell is average, sweet belgian spices (clove, coriander), wheat, and a little bit of wet basement. Beer clumisily rolls on the taste buds with an oilyness not akin to the style, however the tastebuds are treated a solid wheat backbone with the sweet spices mentioned above and a lemony hop crispness, which actually develops into a tang remniscent of a flemish sour. Interesting beer. Pretty complex, there is a lot to think about here, but it doesn’t make you say ’this is a good beer’.

Fresh wheat character with some citrus and spicy character. Opaque yellow gold with decent white head that recedes to a lasting cover. Plenty of chunky yeast in suspension. Spicy, peppery character with underlying wheat malt sweetness. Light body with moderate carbonation that is lively on the tongue. Lager glass, fridge temp. Bottle (Bello Vino, Jul-05).
