The flavor is nicely malty with some banana/clove & a little wheat finish. Light sulpher, finishes malty with similar belgian notes. Good, but I like a little more assertive tangy wheat notes in a witbier. Alcoholist (570), Peoria, Illinois, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 13, 2004 Bottle. Very cloudy yellow/white. Very wheaty aroma, very wheaty taste with a bit of spice and malt. Not bad, but nothing too special. Syd (909), Waconia, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 26, 2004 Bottle pours a cloudy straw yellow with a nice white head and good lace. The aroma is very banana like. The flavor is very mild, not much flavor compared to the aroma, very slightly spicy with a body that seems more rich than the flavor. Overall, I really find this too mild flavored. savitska (163), Smyrna, Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 25, 2004 Witbier wasn't always my favorite style, especially true Belgians, but I'm beginning to come around. This beer had a very cloudy, almost straw color and a very yeasty, citrus aroma. Very light and cleansing, with the requisite banana-like taste and a great spicy hint. A great beer.
