Jul 20, 2005 Light hoparoma with a hint of matl. Hopbitter flavor, also with metal (not a surprise, it’s the Ruhrgebiet!) Medium bodied with a touch of malt character. No more than decent.

Jun 7, 2005 Bottled. Grassy, slightly malty nose. Stale hops, some sweet maltiness, and a medium dry and watery finish. A bit thinbodied. Again, not anywhere near their Dortmund brethren. Reminds me of cheap Czech vycepni svetle.

Jun 6, 2005 (bottle) Pale strawy colour with a small frothy white head. Malty aroma with a sourish note and some grassy hops. Weak malty flavour with an unbalanced hoppy finish. A decent industrialised Export.

May 13, 2005 Bottled: Slightly malty nose, a bit grainy, grassy; straw colour, thin white head; smooth, the malty notes dominate, only a tinge of bitterness in the nearly non-existant aftertaste. Not necessary to sample it again......
