kappldav123 (973), Markkleeberg, Germany Dec 18, 2007 The bottle looks really good. The beer is very, very zippy. I think a little bit too much. Doesn’t taste like a normal Kellerbier. yngwie (3454), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 18, 2007 On tap at Berliner Bierfestival. Hazy, golden-orange body, with a white head. The nose is quite malty and a bit grainy, and there’s some sour notes as well. That doesn’t sound like an appetizing combination, but it was. The flavor follows the same path, with a wee sourness, sweetness from the malt, a bit grainy, and it also has a fruityness and citrusy note that I liked. Medium to full body. It finished sweet and sour with an obvious yeastiness. A nice and rustic brew. (070803) MoritzF (3690), Ruhrpott, Germany May 30, 2007 (bottle) Hazy, orange-amber colour with a fluffy foamy, light off-white head. Dusty, slightly sweet, slightly acidic and tart aroma with light notes of honey and a fruity-yeasty tinge of oranges and grapefruit. Light-sweet flavour, slim bodied with a medium, slightly crispy carbonation. Yeasty, malt-accented taste with subtle fruity notes; quite slim, slightly yeasty-bitter finish. Not perfectly balanced. pivnizub (3793), Porúří, Germany May 21, 2007 Bottle: Hazy, orangey coloured, quickly collapsing off-white head; grainy, yeasty and also "oaky" nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, crispy MF, light bodied; sweetish-grainy finish with a touch of hops and the faintest tinge of roasted or smoked (?) malt in the aftertaste. A quite spicy, decent Zwickel........
