Small beige head. Deep dark brown body with light carbonation. Faint sugary aroma. Dryish-sweet papery roasty taste with fruity notes. Very mild and smooth mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dryish roasty resiny aftertaste with wooden notes. Very low on taste, but not bad. Perhaps a little too sweet and not sufficiently bitter. (0.25l cask, The Blue Blazer, Edinburgh.)

Cask @ Bow Bar, Edinburgh.
Pours a nice chestnut colour, with a fine, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is grainy, some rye, low hops and relatively sweet. Low carbonation, fine creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has some metallic off-flavours, otherwise light rye, chocolate, light roasted and a fair, hoppy finish.
