Feb 23, 2009 Draft at stewarts. Poured into a pint glass. Light black in color, small head. Nice aroma of roasted malts. Taste is light touch of coffe and chocolate. Lots of roasted malts, light hops that kept it in balance. Nice texture and carbonation level. Solid beer.. Overall, I would go back to get another. Close to DFH Indian Brown Ale.

clear dark ruby red, fine beige head, drippy lace,
sweet chocolate and caramel aroma with lots of citrus hops,
rich dark caramel and chocolate flavor, touch of nutty character, lots of citrus hops brings out the sweetness rather than balance it,

Jun 1, 2005 Deep brown color, with aroma of caramel malt, brown sugar, toffee. Tastes caramel malty, with the brown sugar, almonds, and toffee in the taste. Nice balance and smooth palate.
