Commercial Description:
A German style lager, now the official beer of the Wilmington Blue Rocks. Light straw color, crisp body with a smooth noble hop finish. Even though the Blue Rocks season is over we're still pouring at the pub so c'mon down.

Aroma: Lemony/citrus nose
Appearance: Clear yellow-golden color
Flavor: Mild, citrus hop and light malt backing
Palate: Light body, crisp, and dry
Overall Impression: Not much to say here, decent pilsner, nothing special, not good, not bad, just kind of there...

Draft at stewarts.. Poured into a pilsner glass, Not much head. Light yellow color, almost clear. Not much aroma, but light malts. Taste is a clean light refreshing pilsner, true to the style but overall kind of a boring beer... Nice summer beer but far from mind blowing

On tap at brewpub. Pours a clear, deep gold body with a frothy white head. The nose is clean with some mild malt and a whiff of floral hops. The body is medium and crisp with a medium carbonation. The flavor is just as the nose indicates. It is clean, with a good balance of grainy malt and spice and floral hop flavors, and backed by a firm bitterness that leads to a dry finish. Well brewed and enjoyable!

June 2006 - Beer poured pale golden yellow with pillowy head. Aroma was nondescript. Flavor was light and sweet with a mild amount of hoppyness (with some mild grassy tones). Kinda boring

On tap at the brew pub. Pours a translucent golden yellow with a small white head that diminished quickly. Aroma of some grains and cereal but not much else maybe some light floral. Watery and very thin. Very light hop, grains and grass. Not a very good Pils.

An average pilsner obtained at a Blue Rock’s game, this was light golden yellow in color with a minimal head and basic lacing. Crisp flavor and a good malty (some mild grass) and hoppy balance. Pretty simple and fairly fresh "lighter" style beer for the hotter weather. One of the better beers available at the games.

Poured a golden color with a medium sized white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of lemongrass, light toast, and citrus fruits in the background. Taste of a really nice toasted doughiness, sweet graininess, and solid hops in the finish.
